Misplaced Your Certificate of Registration?

Picture those idyllic days aboard your vessel—crystal-clear skies, expansive waters, and effortless navigation. Yet, amid the tranquility, chaos can swiftly ensue, causing vital documents like your Certificate of Registration to vanish without a trace, become mutilated, and so forth. Remember: securing a replacement is imperative to ensure compliance with maritime regulations.

Our platform offers a streamlined process to expedite the acquisition of a new certificate, sparing you undue hassle and delay. Simply click on “replacement” at our site.

Unsettled Debts for Services Rendered?

Much of maritime commerce operates on a foundation of trust and mutual obligation. Despite contractual agreements and verbal assurances, being left unpaid for your labor or services can leave you feeling stranded. However, asserting your rights need not be an insurmountable challenge.

If that happened to you, then you may wish to utilize the”Notice of Claim of Lien” form at our site. While we cannot offer legal counsel, our platform simplifies the filing process, empowering you to take decisive action with confidence.

Relocated Recently?

Whether you’ve relocated yourself or your vessel, keeping your registration information up to date is essential. A change of residence necessitates updating your details with a straightforward “Change of Address” form.

Similarly, if your vessel has found a new permanent berth, a corresponding “Change of Hailing Port” form is in order. Our user-friendly platform offers a convenient avenue to initiate these updates seamlessly.

Unsure What a Hailing Port Is?

Your vessel hailing port can be the port from which it operates. Whether it’s the primary dock, your homeport where you reside, or the nearest port to your location, it must be prominently displayed on the stern, just like the vessel’s name.

When registering with the United States Coast Guard, specifying the hailing port is mandatory, emphasizing its importance akin to the vessel’s name. You don’t have to pick the port that you operate your vessel out of, although many do.

Want to Change Your Boat Name?

As a boat owner, the power to christen your vessel rests with you. But remember, your chosen name serves as an identifier for your vessel as well as you, the owner. Let discretion guide you.

Remember, the selected name must be structured using letters from the Latin alphabet or Arabic or Roman numerals. It should not mimic or sound similar to any phrases used to request aid at sea. It is also advised against using any form of inappropriate, offensive, or racially insensitive language.

When it comes to marking your vessel with the new name, it should be visibly marked on an external part of the port and starboard bow, and the stern. The hailing port needs to be marked on an exterior part of the stern.

As a recreational vessel, the name and hailing port should be clearly marked on an exterior part of the hull.

For a square-bowed vessel, mark the name on a visible part of the bow in a way that prevents erasure. The name and hailing port should be marked on a visibly external part of the stern.

The markers should be in legible Latin letters or Arabic or Roman numerals that are at least four inches high. Use durable materials and methods to ensure the markings last.
